Walking is good for brain health

“Professor Winston Byblow, a brain researcher and sport and exercise scientist at the University of Auckland, has found regular exercise significantly increases the flow of oxygen to the brain, nourishing cells and helping thought.” He says that walking for 45 minutes, five times a week reduces our brain’s age by 10 years.  If strength training is added to the mix, it provides more benefits.  Here at Healthy Antiaging resources, we encourage you to walk daily and by adding variety to your walks, you are stimulating your brains cells which helps to reverse the effects of aging. So get your shoes on and head outside!
